The provisions of MINN. STAT. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to the Advertisement for Bids of Chisago County shall comply with the provisions of the statute The website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the website . Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from other sources. Bids will only be accepted via the electronic bidding service throughonline. NO HARD COPY BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED. No bid will be accepted unlesssubmitted with a bidder's bond payable to the County for not lessthan five (5) per cent of the bid, as a guarantee that the bidder will, within fifteen (15) days after notification of award of contract, enter into an agreement with the County and furnish a performance bond and a payment bond for the full amount of the contract as provided by law. If the bidder, upon the letting of the contract to them, shall fail to enter into the contract, as let, the amount of such bidder's bond shall be forfeited to the County The County Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interest of the County. The proposed contract issubject to minimum wage rates asset forth by the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry and incorporated into the Specifications
