Description | Site work for a water / sewer project in Blackwell, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project. Scope : The Blackwell CDBG Water Line Replacement 2019, to wit: BASE BID 1 3676 LF 8" PVC, DR-18, C-900 RJIB Certa-Lok, Horizontal Directional Drilling 2 10651 LF 6" PVC, DR-18, C-900 RJIB Certa-Lok, Horizontal Directional Drilling 3 24 EA 8" Gate Valve and Box with Mega Lug Restraints 4 15 EA 6" Gate Valve and Box with Mega Lug Restraints 5 2 EA 8" X 8" Tapping Sleeve with 8" Gate Valve and Box 6 3 EA 8" X 6" Tapping Sleeve with 6" Gate Valve and Box 7 19 EA Fire Hydrant Assembly - Complete with Gate Valve and Tee 8 11 EA Connect to Existing Wet Connection (Includes MJ Fittings, Couplers, Etc.) ADDITIVE ALTERNATE #1 9 3 EA 8" Gate Valve and Box, Wet Connection and Plug Existing Waterline 10 1 EA 6" Gate Valve and Box, Wet Connection and Plug Existing Waterline 11 137 EA 1" Water Service - Complete (Short) 12 135 EA 1" Water Service - Complete (Long, includes bore under pavement) 13 1 EA 2" Water Service - Complete (Short) 14 1 EA 2" Water Service - Complete (Long, includes bore under pavement) Small business and minority owned business sources are encouraged to bid on this project. The City of Blackwell reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any irregularities or technicalities without assigning any reason therefore, and to make the awards in the best interest of the Owner. The City of Blackwell reserves the right to withhold any contract awarded subject to the availability of funds. Non-Collusion form must be signed, notarized and returned with bid or bid will not be accepted. All bids must include assurances that the following provisions will be complied with: Federal Labor Standards Provisions U. S. Department of Labor 29 CFR Part 5; Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, 12 U.S.C. 170IU which requires that to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for training and employment be given lower income residents of the Town of Morrison and contracts for work in connection with the project be awarded to business concerns which are located or owned in substantial part by persons residing in the area of the project. Section 109 of the Housing and Community development Act of 1974 which assures that no person shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin or sex be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination; Certification of Non-segregated Facilities which assures that bidder does not maintain or provide any segregated facilities; Equal Opportunity Provision, EO 11246, as 2 amended, which assures non discrimination; Minority Business Enterprise and Women Business Enterprise Provisions which encourage minority owned businesses and women owned businesses to paid on the project; assurances that surety companies executing bonds appear on the Treasury Department's list and are authorized to transact business in the State of Oklahoma. Contracts for this construction will require the submissions of a preliminary statement of anticipated work force and subcontractor needs for project construction work, as well as the submission of written goals (number of employees and dollar amount to subcontractors) for utilization of lower-income residents and small and disadvantaged businesses located within Kay County. The City of Blackwell reserves the right to reject any of all bids, waive any irregularities or technicalities without assigning any reason therefore, and to make the awards in the best interest of the Owner. Bid shall be awarded to the lowest, responsive and responsible bidder). No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Bids are solicited and a contract award will be made pursuant to the Public Competitive Bidding Act of 1974 as amended (Title 61, O.S. 1981, Sections 101-136 et seq.). |
