Site work for a water / sewer project in Dubuque, Iowa. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project. This project involves installing sanitary sewer through the 156.25-acre City-owned property located at the northwest quadrant of the intersection of the Southwest Arterial and Highways 151/61 to ready it for industrial development. The property is currently planned to be developed in three phases. The proposed funding for FY23 would fund the engineering design of the sewer for all three phases and construction of the first phase. Construction of the second and third phases are programmed for FY25 and FY27 respectively, but would be shifted to meet development needs. This project is in included in the City of Dubuque FY 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
