Canova Beach Booster Pump Station Improvements

The work includes, but is not limited to demolition activities, construction of an electrical building, vertical turbine pumps with variable frequency drives, a chemical storage and feed system, yard piping, electrical system, instrumentation and controls, site improvements, and furnishing all material, labor, and equipment necessary for constructing CANOVA BEACH BOOSTER PUMP STATION IMPROVEMENTS. All work is to be done in accordance with the plans and specifications of Project No. 31418. This project is not funded by state or federal funds. The Contractor shall not subcontract more than 50% of the work based on the total contract price. Applicant may not utilize subcontractors for the role of project manager. The successful bidder must be able to show a past history of successfully completed potable water booster pump station utility projects that are compliant with the applicable permits and standards. Contractor, or its sub-contractor(s), shall possess and maintain during the term of this Agreement one of the following licenses and/or certifications: 1. Florida Registered or Certified General Contractor 2. Florida Registered or Certified Underground Utilities Contractor All questions about the meaning or intent of this Invitation to Bid must be submitted in writing at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to bid due date. Only questions answered by formal written addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect and shall not be relied upon by Bidders in submitting their bids.
