| Description | The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) requests bids for the removal & replacement of the existing exterior windows, entry doors & side glazing and vestibule doors & side glazing at the Watkins RC facility. Work includes removing the existing window assemblies, replacing exterior metal building trim found around the windows, and installing specified wall flashing as detailed within construction document details & specs. Interior work is limited to the demoed window areas, where detailed trim work should cover all damaged finish wall areas. Key work items are listed below; drawings and specifications describe full requirements. • Remove and dispose existing window assemblies. • Remove sheet metal trim at exterior corrugated metal wall panels around windows & replace as detailed within construction documents. • Install new flashing as detailed within construction docs. • Install new window assemblies as approved through shop submittal process. • Install PVC interior window trim as detailed within construction documents. |
