Description

This project includes milling, resurfacing, patching and base repair of asphalt and concrete streets, replacement of non-ADA compliant curb ramps and sidewalk, replacement of curb, replacement of traffic signal detection loops, drainage work, pavement markings, and all other necessary items to result in a complete project. Please be advised that "The contractor is responsible for ensuring that all of the totals are correct based on the unit prices provided and that all of the mathematics are correct." The bids shall be Unit Price for all work shown in the contract documents and specifications with unit prices for extras as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders in the specifications and submitted in duplicate on the State Board of Accounts Form No. 96. An executed State Board of Accounts Form 96a or similar document shall be required. The bidder must file with their sealed bid proposal, a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the amount of the proposal, payable to the Jeffersonville Board of Public Works. The above checks or bonds are to insure the execution of the contract on which such bids are made. The Contractor to whom the work is awarded will be required to furnish, before commencing work, a performance, maintenance and payment bond to extend for a period of one year after final acceptance, in an amount equal to the bid price of the contract awarded to said Contractor and Certificates of all Insurance as described in the Contract Documents. The Board of Public Works of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bidding.
