Professional Consulting Services

The City is looking for firms with documented experience assisting with USDA Grant work, environmental assessment and cleanup work, and engineering services related to the additional cut and fill and stormwater design required for the cleanup. The selected consultant must also be qualified to complete Brownfield (environmental) assessments and cleanup plans, as well as grant programmatic assistance and related services to Florida municipalities, have a Florida licensed PE, PMP and PG on staff for available for the project. The selected consultant will provide support in the identification of potential funding sources including identifying, writing and assisting with/managing grant applications, as well as reporting and reports and attachments in coordination with the City of South Bay, including Quarterly and the Final Report for Grant Closeout. The objectives of the City and this RFP are to complete the following: • Additional environmental testing, soil and field sampling • Assessment and corrective action report • Coordination of the SUE for utility identification • Updated cut and fill and stormwater design to meet the recommended environmental corrective action • Project administration and financing plan to be coordinated by staff with a GPC
