Description | Counties : Miami-dade Road Name :Striping Miami-dade County - Routine Maintenance Limits: Midpoint Project(s): 44430327201(*) Federal Aid No: N/A Total Roadway Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Days: 365 Total Bridge Length: 0.000 Miles Total Proposal Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Execution Days: 10 Special Start Date: N/A Aquis/Flexible Start Time: The work under this contract consists to apply new and refurbish thermoplastic traffic stripes and markings and remove existing thermoplastic traffic stripes and markings in various state roads. Prequalification is not required. Experience in Pavement Markings, Form # 850-070-06 must be submitted with the bid as an attachment. The quantities shown on the Bid Price Proposal are approximate and only represent estimated planned requirements based on historical or specific project needs. The Department does not guarantee any maximum or minimum quantity, any range of quantities, or the exact quantities shown for each bid item. The Department's estimated quantities and the Contractors' bid price will be used to calculate a total bid amount. This total bid amount will then be used to determine the low bidder; however, actual payment under the awarded contract will based on actual quantities completed. For this Contract in which specific site are not identified at the time of letting, the Engineer will issue a Work Document. Work Documents will identify the location, description, amount of work to accomplished, and the number calendar days to complete the work. Award will be made at the Budgetary Ceiling amount of $400,000.00 For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00. A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects unless noted otherwise in the project specifications.
