Description

Upgrade approximately 1,500 feet an 85+ year old 12-inch cast iron water line with new 12-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP). This waterline includes 16 service taps and impacts a number of commercial establishments, including the main feed to Lander University Campus and the main feed to uptown Greenwood. The line extends parallel to Calhoun Avenue, from the intersection of Highland Park Drive to the intersection with Lander Street. The project is within SCDOT right-of-way. The majority of the construction will be located under the sidewalk, with small portions under the roadway.
