North Yuba Water District Water Storage Improvements Project.

As of April 13, 2023, this project was awarded to Escheman Construction awarded amount of $1,175,590.44. Sealed Bids for the construction of: North Yuba Water District Water Storage Improvements Project. Improvements will include construction of the following: * Demolition of existing 100,000 gallon wooden Challenge Tank, including foundation and valve vault. * Construction of new 100,000 gallon bolted steel Challenge Tank, including foundation, new valve vault and tank appurtenances. * Install one fire hydrant at each site (Challenge, Forbestown, and Rackerby) and provide temporary water storage systems for each tank during construction. * Install geotextile underlayment and geomembrane liner system in two 100,000 gallon water storage tanks (Forbestown and Rackerby tanks). Bidders are notified that financing for this project is provided through Proposition 1 Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) Implementation Grant. Pursuant to Labor Code Sections 1725.5 and 1771.1, all contractors and subcontractors that wish to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, or enter into a contract to perform public work must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. In bidding on this Project, it shall be the Bidders sole responsibility to evaluate and include the cost of complying with all labor compliance requirements under this contract and applicable law in its Bid. The Engineer's opinion of probable cost of construction is $698,000.00.
