Description

This project consists of various City roadway infrastructure damage repairs including but not limited to pavement resurfacing, new curbing, sidewalks, riprap stabilization at several pipe outfalls, and several drainage structures to be reconstructed along the following street locations; Washington Street, Studdiford Street/Swan Street intersection Street, Coryell Street/Lambert Lane intersection, Northfield Court east from Studdiford Street, Malloy Tract east from Alexander Creek Road, Alexander Avenue at Phillips Barber Road and at New Hope Ambulance Drive, S. Union Street at Justice Center (JC) and associated JC parking lot, Jefferson Road east from Rosemont Avenue, Hancock Street from Route 179 to Grant Avenue, Grants Alley from Route 179 to N. Franklin Street, S. Franklin Street from Swan Street to Brunswick Pike, Blair Tract, and Stryker Street from Highland Avenue to Douglas Street. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, supervision, trade skills, materials, and equipment required for this project as described in the Construction Documents. The Contract will allow 60 calendar days for completion of the work from the notice to proceed. In submitting this request you will be registered for this bid, only registered bidders will be allowed to submit a bid. All digital documents are at no cost to bidder. One hard copy and one electronic copy of the Bids shall be made on the forms provided and made part of the Contract Documents. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the order of the City of Lambertville , or a duly executed Bid Bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 must be deposited by the Bidder together with a Surety Consent evidencing that They can obtain the required Performance Bond. The successful Bidder will be required to deliver to the Owner an executed Performance Bond of a responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. The City of Lambertville reserves the right to consider bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt. The right is reserved to waive any informalities, to accept bids which it deems most favorable to the interest of the City to make an award on each item separately or as a whole and to accept any Bid or to reject any or all Proposals in accordance with the Specifications and the Bid forms.
