Description | Payment Terms N30 Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Percentage Goal: 3% Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) Percentage Goal: 3% Bonds A Payment and Performance Bond is required for a contract award exceeding $100,000. The awarded firm shall submit a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond as a condition precedent to a Contract or purchase order. Documentation of bonds shall be in a format acceptable to Metro. Timeframe (60 minutes max) - MWS to ask questions in rotation. All Proposer's will be asked the same questions. Failure to respond to a question will result in point deductions, therefore, Proposers are encouraged to be mindful of the time during the Question/Answer portion of the interview. Round 3 Offerors evaluated as qualified from Round 2 will be invited to the next round(s) wherein Offerors will submit Cost for a total of 100 Points Round 3 - Cost Evaluation Criteria (100 Points Maximum) For the purposes of evaluation, the project shall be assumed to have a conservative projected estimate for the construction of $140,000,000. The budgetary cost will be updated as the project progresses in design and engineering. The lowest evaluated cost will be awarded the maximum points, and other Proposers will receive points based on their cost in proportion to the lowest cost. If in the view of Metro, the information submitted is not reasonable, this may result in the rejection the proposal as non responsive or in a reduction of score, if, in the sole evaluation by Metro, the proposed hours or rates would not result in the best interests of Metro and the success of this project. If determined to be fair and reasonable by Metro, contractor-quoted fees and billing rates will be used as the basis for the contract and payment to the contractor. Proposers shall not submit unrealistically low values in order to obtain a more favorable rating from the Evaluation Panel. It is anticipated that the quoted fees and billing rates will be used as a basis for developing the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposals by the CMAR. Points from Round 1, 2, and 3 be added together to determine who receives the max points. |
