Description

The Plymouth Public School Committee is seeking to replace the roof of the Nathaniel Morton Elementary School. The building was originally built in 1913 with subsequent additions. The total square footage of the roof is approximately 35,000 square feet. The roofs on this building consists of three lowslope roof sections and multiple steep-sloped asphalt shingle roof sections. The existing roof is approximately 20 years old and is beyond its life expectancy. Significant leaking has occurred in areas over the past several years. Portions of the roof were damaged during the October 2021 storm and have been repaired but will still need to be replaced.
