AUM Laboratory Facility Renovation - Interior Demolition and Abatement

The general scope of the work includes but is not limited to: Selective interior demolition and hazardous materials abatement of the former ADPH lab facility adjacent to the AUM campus. The scope of demolition includes the removal of most of the interior partitions within the building, as well as the demolition of existing fire protection piping, plumbing piping and fixtures, mechanical equipment and ductwork, and electrical fixtures, lighting and conduit. The abatement scope includes the removal of flooring, countertops, roof penetration coatings, and miscellaneous asbestos containing items. Building envelope related scope is primarily limited to the removal of rooftop mechanical equipment and any areas affected by the demolition activities should be re-sealed to prevent water and moisture intrusion. The existing stairs and elevator will remain and should be protected during demolition work.
