Description

The project consists of improvements to 40th Street (from Bergen line Avenue to Palisade Avenue), 44th Street (from New York Avenue to Palisade Avenue) and 45th Street (from New York Avenue to Palisade Avenue). More specifically, work shall include HMA milling and paving, full depth pavement repair, construction of speed humps, removal of existing curbs, sidewalks and select trees, construction of new scored concrete sidewalks, decorative brick sidewalk bands, concrete curbs, scored and stamped reinforced concrete driveways, planting of shade trees, installation of semi-circular granite block tree wells, cellar door replacement and resetting window well grates, painting various existing features and restriping.
