Description | Schroeder Hall ADA Entry Ramp Lighting Project at Sonoma State University. Install 40 LED lights, provided by owner, on underside of handrails at Schroeder Hall ADA Entry Ramp. The current lighting design uses BX cable that is cemented into an architectural landscape wall feature. Due to the permanence of this landscape wall feature, we’re unable to make necessary electrical repairs to the existing system. The North ramp is currently illuminated, while the South ramp is not. ork scope is as follows: ILLUMINATE EXISTING METAL HANDRAIL Drill– (40) holes on underside of 2” handrails that line the Schroeder Hall Entry steps to fit (40) Wagner™ Architectural Systems Lumenpod 28’s as indicated per drawings. Run – 24V electrical wire through handrails to each of the (40) holes. Install – (40) Wagner™ Architectural Systems Lumenpod 28’s as indicated per drawings and connect to 24V electrical wire. Install – (4) Wagner™ Architectural Systems Lumenpod 28 enclosures and (4) Wagner™ Architectural Systems Lumenpod 28 drivers with Lumenpod 28 kits as indicated per drawings and connect to 24V electrical wire ran through the handrails. Run – electrical wire from (4) Wagner™ Architectural Systems Lumenpod 28 drivers to 277V power which will be pulled from the (2) existing bollard style lights at top of the stairs. Must be trenched in conduit under the earth and under (1) sidewalk. Ensure – All (40) LED lights are operational and that all electrical connections and wire are both ran safely underground as per code requirements. Timeline – Spring 2022 – Weather dependent, SSU has all Wagner™ Architectural Systems Lumenpod 28s, drivers, driver enclosures, and Lumenpod 28 kits. |
