Number: AC-STBG-G-125-1(71)E 221201, CE2665187 This project, located in Cecil County, consists of converting the unsignalized intersection with restricting turning movements to a full signalized intersection. The work includes removing existing median islands, widening of existing US 40 for auxiliary lanes, grind and resurface existing US 40 pavement, minor geometric modifications to Nottingham Road and Old Neck Road, installation of median traffic barrier, drainage, stormwater management and erosion and sediment control, signing and pavement markings, and a new traffic signal for the construction of a portion of US 40 (Dual). The project limits begin west of the intersection of US 40 and Nottingham Road/Old Neck Road and extend east of the intersection, for a total distance 0.35 miles. Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon the latest electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
