Description | The City of Roanoke will be accepting sealed bids for the demolition of a nuisance property located on Knight Avenue and Radney Street in Roanoke Alabama. All contractors bidding must have a City of Roanoke business license. Any contractor doing this work will be required to have in force and maintain a minimum of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) in liability insurance coverage. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. For the property Location and Scope of Work for the job to be performed please contact Tim Jacobs at Roanoke City Hall 809 Main Street 334-863-4129. Work to be done will include, but is not limited to, removal of back wall, front wall, side walls, roof and any materials such as wood, bricks, metal and all or any unsafe parts of a building down to the foundation on a property located on Knight Avenue in Roanoke, Alabama. The Tax ID # for the property is 56-16-07-35-2-007- 001.000. The second property is located at 232 Radney Street in Roanoke. With tax ID# 56-16-08-34-1-003-009.000. After removal any dirt area should sloped with the natural terrain seeded and covered with hay. The contractor is responsible for the demolition, hauling and proper disposal of all debris in accordance with all ADEM regulations. The contractor shall take all necessary precautions to be sure that adjoining properties and sidewalks are not damaged during the performance of the work and that all underground and aboveground utilities are properly marked and protected throughout the removal process. Please bid on each parcel separately. All contractors bidding on this project must have a City of Roanoke Business License. |
