Security Vestibules Wirth Middle School and Oliver Parks School

BASE BID work is the creation of a secured vestibule at Wirth Middle School and interior renovations at Oliver Parks School to relocate the administrative office and create a secured vestibule. The work includes all trades demolition; vinyl tile and carpet tile flooring; acoustical ceilings; metal stud and gypsum board partitions; paint; casework; and minor work to electrical, mechanical, fire alarm, sprinkler, burglar alarm and door access control systems. The work also includes the abatement of approximately 13,120 square feet of asbestos containing floor tile / mastic and rubber base / mastic at Wirth Middle School as well as the installation of new materials to replace abated materials. ALTERNATE BID #1 is the demolition and provision/installation of new suspended acoustical panel ceilings (including gypsum board bulkheads and details) at the vestibule and administrative offices of Wirth Middle School and the vestibule of Oliver Parks School. Mechanical, electrical, fire alarm and sprinkler system work is commensurate with work.
