Construction of Two (2) Emergency Housing Units

Bid Place: Chickasaw Nation Department of Community Services, Division of Housing 111 Rosedale Road, Ada, OK 74820 the Chickasaw Nation Will Receive Bids From Sub-contractors for Various Trades for the Construction of Two (2) Emergency Housing Units in Ponototc County Under the Chickasaw Nation Fiscal Recovery Fund Program. Prevailing Davis-bacon Wage Rates Will Apply. All Related Bidding Documents Are on File at the Chickasaw Nation Tribal Procurement Office Located at 111 Rosedale, Ada, Ok 74820, (580) 421-8800, and Are Open for Public Inspection. The Competency and Responsibility of Bidders Will Be Considered in Awarding the Contracts, and the Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and Waive Irregularity in Bidding. The Contracts Will Be Reasonable and Accepted if It is in the Interest of the Chickasaw Nation. Each Bidder Shall Be Aware That Bids Will Be Received From Indian and Non-indian Contractors and Preference Will Be Given to Those Received From Indian Contractors. Qualification Shall Be Determined by the Authority and Based on Receipt of Additional Requirements Submitted With or Prior to the Bid. Contact the Tribal Procurement Office for Detailed Requirements. Contractors Will Be Required to Implement Indian Preference in Subcontracting, Buying Materials, Services and Hiring of Employees as Required by Section 7(B) of the Indian Self-determination and Education Assistance Act.
