Access Control and Visual Surveillance System

Contractor will install (2) card readers with keypads and electrified strikes. Devices will be installed on the perimeter doors of the back-patio area for control of entry into the building hallway and eating area. Existing door position switches will remain in place. The existing exit devices cylindrical dogging cylinders will be removed and replaced with blank cylinders. Cable will be routed from each door back to the communication closet. All cable will be routed above drop tile ceilings and suspended via j-hooks. Existing pathways near the main entries across the atrium and back to the communications closet will be used. A new dual reader interface module will be installed in the communications closet in a separate enclosure. The reader interface module will be wired to the existing LNL-2220 controller. Existing panel power supply and spare ports for door hardware will be re-used. Once all devices have been installed, they will be programmed via customers existing workstations.
