Description | The work to be performed under this contract includes the Phase I and Phase II Contract Drawings and Contract Documents. Improvements under Phase 1 include the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment for the provision and installation of a vertical turbine well pump and motor, the construction of concrete well pad, well drain manhole, well discharge piping, and the provision of temporary power and temporary hose connection during testing, and associated work as shown on the Drawings. Phase II includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment for construction of improvements to Well 17 site and water storage tank site including an aerator system and sump, chlorinated water booster pump station, a pressure filter water treatment system and controls, a backwash tank, a CMU Chemical/Control Building with electrical equipment and an on-site hypochlorite generation system, a 1.0-MG water storage tank and a filtered water pump station, a pre-engineered Electrical Building, diesel engine generators, motor control centers, a PLC-based control system with a new cloud-based SCADA monitoring of facility, instrumentation, site piping and filtered water piping between Well 17 site and water storage tank site, site improvements including chain link fence and CMU wall systems, site grading, paving, drainage, and associated work as shown on the Drawings and as described in the Contract Documents. The project will be funded in part by the California Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Program (DWSRF). Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) participation is encouraged. |
