Downtown City Hall Redevelopment

The City of Provo, Utah, is seeking proposals from real estate developers/development teams to lead the redevelopment of a 3.6-acre site into a dynamic mixed-use project that will serve as a vibrant addition to Provo’s Center Street. The City owns the redevelopment parcel and it is currently in use as the City Hall facility. The current facility is outdated and has reached the end of its useful life. In fact, the facility cannot accommodate the existing needs of the public safety departments and does not meet current seismic safety standards. In the event of a significant seismic event, the City’s first responders would not be able to provide the needed level of response for its residents. The City intends to use local redevelopment tools as necessary to assist with project financing as the property is within an existing redevelopment project area. Responses to this request for qualifications will be used as part of a multi-phase selection process.
