Description | https://djcoregon.com/news/2022/12/19/contractor-chosen-for-transit-center-renovation/ TriMet's board of directors has selected Raimore Construction as the general contractor for the Hollywood Transit Center infrastructure improvement project. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (TriMet) is soliciting Proposals from qualified general contractors to provide Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) Services including both preconstruction services and construction services work for the Hollywood Transit Center (HTC) Project. No proposal security will be required. A 100% performance bond and 100% labor and material payment bond on TriMet bond forms will be required when construction services are added to the contract (via a contract modification). The proposal must incorporate and address how elements of the M/W/E/SDVBE program, as described below, will be implemented for both pre-construction and construction activities. It is the policy of TriMet that Minority-owned Business Enterprises, Women-owned Business Enterprises, Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Business Enterprises, Emerging Small Businesses, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, certified by the State of Oregon as MBE/WBE/SDVBE/ESB/DBE (Certified Small Businesses) shall have an equal opportunity to participate in the performance of contracts financed with general funds. By submitting its proposal, proposer certifies that it will take all necessary and reasonable steps to ensure that Certified Small Businesses firms are given an equal opportunity to compete for and participate in the performance of this Contract. Proposer further certifies and agrees that it has not and will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, or sex in the award of subcontracts under this Contract or in performance of this Contract. TriMet views adherence to Appendix F as an important mechanism for meeting this policy objective. TriMet's goal for utilization of Certified Small Businesses is 20%; TriMet strongly encourages proposers to do their best to meet this goal. This section of the proposal shall contain narratives for workforce diversity and M/W/E/SDVBE utilization as more fully described below. The narratives should include identification of Offeror's certifications and/or nondiscrimination practices, and any historical M/W/E/SDVBE joint ventures, subcontracting, or mentoring plans congruent with TriMet's diversity policies.
