Regional Master Meter Improvements – Bid Package 2

The purpose of the project is to increase the reliability of communication links (remote telemetry units) with the base telemetry server located at the North Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (NRWWTP) Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA) and to upgrade existing billing meters throughout the service area. This project includes furnishing of all labor, materials, component, services, incidentals for the construction and addition of improvements to the automatic remote wastewater flow meter reading system at various wastewater, leachate, and reuse master billing meters within the Broward County Service Area. Additionally, the following components are to be upgraded and enhanced as part of this project; an increase in the consistency of the remote and local readings, enhanced wireless security, additional remote diagnostics capabilities and lower maintenance requirements. The Work includes all associated structural, process mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems and miscellaneous civil and site work, and all appurtenant Work and required permits, complete, tested and ready for operation, all in conformance with the Contract Documents.
