Description

If submitting bids electronically, please use the following email ahanson@auburnschl.edu The Work involves renovations to portions of the existing Auburn Middle School at location indicated on Drawings. Work includes but is not limited to, selective demolition, masonry, metal stud partitions, gypsum board walls and ceiling, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, custom cabinets and fixtures, carpentry, painting, wood & metal doors, metal frames, door hardware, aluminum-framed storefront, fire protection and detection systems, electrical, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning complete and ready for use. It is the bidders responsibility to confirm receipt and to allow time for physical printing of the Proposal Form and supporting documents. General contract proposals must be accompanied by a certified or cashiers check for 5% of the proposal or a satisfactory bid bond in a similar amount. The Owner reserves the right to waive all formalities and reject any and all proposals or to accept any proposal. Proposals shall be submitted upon the form provided by the Architect. The selected general contractor will be required to furnish a 100% contract performance bond and a 100% contract payment bond to cover the execution of the work which shall be in conformity with the form of bonds contained in section 2-C of the specifications and for the contract amount. Payment must be received by Xpress copy either by mail or hand delivery prior to release of documents.
