Buildings 306 and 307 Roof Replacements

The project contemplated consists of the removal and replacement of the roof structures and systems for Buildings 306 and 307 at the South Shore Water Reclamation Facility, including installation of new roof hatches and replacement of the lighting and associated electrical conduit. Some of the existing roofing materials contain more than 1% asbestos. The project consists of the following work in general: 1. Remove and dispose the existing lighting and electrical conduit from each building. 2. Remove and dispose the existing roofing materials containing more than 1% asbestos from each building 3. Remove and dispose the existing roofing systems from each building. 3. Provide the new roofing system and access hatch for each building. 4. Provide the new electrical conduit and lighting to replace the existing for each building. 5. Provide a 2 year full warranty and a 20 year maintenance service agreement 6. All other work as described in the plans and specifications and as necessary to complete the project.
