Description | Site Directions: Between WCR 29 and Hwy. 85 in Pierce, CO The Town of Pierce will receive sealed bids for DOLA EIAF 9503 Pierce WCR 90-Rowe Ave. Reconstruction This project consists of the reconstruction improvements to WCR 90 (Rowe Avenue) between WCR 29 and Hwy. 85 in Pierce, CO. The construction will involve the milling (2") of approximately 30,507 SY of Asphalt Pavement, and the overlay (4") of H.M.A. (1.5" Grade SX(75))(PG 64-22) and H.M.A. (2.5" Grade S(75))(PG 64-22), 210 SY of Concrete Cross Pans, 714 CY of ABC Gravel Shoulders and other miscellaneous work. All bid proposals must be on the form provided and must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Town of Pierce negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactorily Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid. Checks accompanying bids not accepted will be returned to the bidders. The selected Contractor will be required to furnish a 100% Contract Performance Bond and a 100% Contract Payment Bond to cover the execution of the Work which shall be in conformity with the Form of Bonds contained in the Specifications and for the Contract Amount. The Work will be substantially completed within 30 consecutive calendar days after the Notice to Proceed and complete and ready for final payment within 10 consecutive calendar days past substantial completion. No bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of the bids without the consent of the Town of Pierce, for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of opening bids. The Town of Pierce reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bids, and to accept the bid that, in the opinion of the Town of Pierce, is to the best interests of the Town of Pierce. |
