Description | For New Modular Classroom Building Fabricate, transport and install a 2,404 sf, with a gable-roof, standing seam metal roofing, moment frame building, utilizing a 15'x32.5' module. The building must have a DSA approved PC, 5 feet overhangs at the front of the building with 2' sidewall and rear overhangs, Hollow metal doors and windows, tackboard at interior classroom walls, FRP at restrooms and suspended T-bar ceilings. Building must also have complete mechanical HVAC system, electrical power & lighting and plumbing fixtures. Note: Slab-on-grade & foundation, under slab plumbing, site utilities, fire alarm system, casework, flooring, signage, window coverings, all site improvements including site grading & drainage shall be completed by others. The work shall be performed within the following time frame: (150 days) The District has determined the general prevailing rate to be the per diem wages for each craft or type of workman or mechanic needed to execute this contract as set forth in the collective bargaining agreements for Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Merced Counties, California. COMPLIANCE MONITORING: This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations, Office of the Labor Commissioner. Copies of all collective bargaining agreements relating to the work are on file and available for inspection in the office of the California Department of Industrial Relations, Division of the Labor Statistics and Research, 455 Golden State Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94102, (415-703-4780), In compliance with SB 854, no Contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. In addition, no contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. A valid Type B, Contractors License will be required. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. Unless otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening. |
