Description

Pedestrian ADA curb ramps at various intersections on SR 24 east of I-82 do not fully meet ADA standards. Upgrade the curb ramps to meet current standards, improving accessibility for all pedestrians. As of January 31, 2023, this project is in Design status. Preliminary engineering has begun and environmental design is expected to be complete in the Third quarter of 2023. The contract advertisement is expected in Fourth quarter of 2023 and construction is anticipated to be operationally complete in the Fourth quarter of 2024. WSDOT - SR 24/I-82 to Riverside Rd - ADA Compliance *Project information has been obtained through a public state transportation improvement plan (STIP). A STIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the STIP often evolves based on funding availability. The project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
