The Project consists of the construction of Excavation, Drilled Pier Deep Foundations, ZeroDepth Entry Swimming Pool with Six 25-Yards Swimming Lanes, Zero-Depth Water Feature Assembly, 3-Meter Dive Board Assembly, 1-Meter Dive Board Assembly, Water Walk Assembly, Above and Below Slab Zero-Depth Water Features, Pool Mechanical Building, FEMA Bathhouse, Concrete Pool Decks, Shade Structures, Site Electrical and Plumbing, Building Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing, Concrete Sidewalks, Retaining wall, Parking Lots, Sanitary Sewer, Water Service, Site Grading, Chain Link Fencing, Tests; coordination of Work and Miscellaneous items.. The City of Canton, South Dakota requests formal single bids and/or separate bids, and/or combination bids for the Proposed Construction of the Canton Community Swimming Pool, as follows: 1) Pool Construction: outdoor reinforced concrete swimming pool, deep foundation: drilled piers, concrete deck, pool deck equipment, shade structures, water walk, and incidental demolition, grading limited site work, 1-Meter diving tower, 3-Meter diving tower painting, electrical bonding, and miscellaneous. 2) Pool Mechanical Construction: precast concrete containment tanks, swimming pool processing pipe assembly, recirculation pumps, sand filter assembly, liquid chlorine disinfection system, water features, water feature pumps, dewatering pump assembly, pool water process controls, electrical equipment, electrical bonding, and incidental demolition, manhole, grading, limited site work, and miscellaneous. 3) General Construction: excavation, fill, grading, trenching, stormwater management, erosion control, site security fence, chain link fence, concrete, architectural pre-cast concrete, precast concrete hollow core plank, FEMA Storm shelter/bathhouse, mechanical building, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, potable water distribution, drain waste vent system, yard hydrant system, electric service, electrical distribution, building electrical, site electrical system, electrical grounding, electrical bonding, pool process electrical construction, and miscellaneous. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bidders maximum Bid price or a cashiers or certified check made payable to the Owner in an amount of five percent (5%) of the Bidders maximum Bid price. All bid documents and contract(s) shall be made in accordance with, and subject to SDCL 5-l 8A, 5-18B, 5-21, 5-22, and the provisions set forth in these specifications. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof and to waive any irregularities.
