Description | Contractor to provide all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, insurance, etc to necessary to remove and replace the existing asphalt roof, gutters and downspouts etc located at the NRP Boathouse at the NRP Marine Terminal. Remove and properly dispose of the existing asphalt shingle roof (approximately 3,700 SF), felt underlayment, flashing, drip edge, etc., down to bare roof sheathing Inspect existing 3"x6" tongue and groove roof sheathing, and replace any deteriorated wood as directed by the DNR Project Manager on a unit price basis. Remove and replace the boot flashing on 1 plumbing vent pipe rovide and install approximately 3,700 SF of architectural shingles, which shall be installed as a shingle roofing system eligible for a CertainTeed (or an approve equal), "5 Star Coverage for a SureStart Plus" Warranty to include the Wind Warranty Upgrade or an approved equal. All questions shall be submitted by June 14, 2023, by 2:00 p.m. to allow time for the Project Manager to respond to the questions, If the State of Maryland or other regulatory body requires a license or certificate to perform the services required, please provide the copy of license number and date of issuance in submission with other required documentation. The Contractor agrees that the price will be firm for a time period of ninety (90) calendar days from the bid opening date to execution of the contract by the State. The work shall be completed within 60 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed. If the work is not completed within the time period specified, the contractor will be liable for liquidated damages of $150.00 per calendar day as specified in the "General Conditions |
