F--Mi-Huron NWR-Lead Based Paint Abatement

The Contractor shall furnish materials, labor, equipment, and superintendence for the work described below and within the construction documents. The work includes, but is not limited to: project mobilization and demobilization, project management and oversite, demolition, furnishing materials and labor to construct items described below, quality control, cleanup, and removal of all debris and waste generated during performance of the work. This project involves removal and proper disposal of exterior lead-based paint, repairing/replacing damaged boards, and painting components of buildings located on Lighthouse Island to preserve them in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior¿s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. This project also involves removing a 55-gallon waste oil drum from underneath the Boathouse. Add alternates will be to remove lead paint and repaint the interior of the Privy, Oil House, and lead base paint removal and disposal on the Boat House rails and Fog Signal Building tram rail system.
