Description | The Work under this procurement shall include furnishing, without limitation, all labor, equipment, materials and all other items or services necessary and/or required for the performance of the FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF LIQUID SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE. The term of the contract shall be for a period anticipated to commence on January 1, 2023 and shall continue through December 31, 2023. A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) of the total bid amount but not in excess of or $20,000.00, whichever is lower, must be submitted with the bid as a guaranty that if a contract is awarded, the Bidder shall execute the Contract required by the Contract Documents. If a Bid Bond and/or a Consent of Surety is being submitted, sureties shall be licensed and/or authorized to transact business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the Authority. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et.seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action Program, Equal Employment Opportunity), and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990(42 U.S.C. S12.101 et seq.), as applicable. Additionally, a copy of the Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue, for the bidder must be submitted in conformance with P.L. 2004, c.57. The Successful Bidder shall be required to comply with all provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Industry. Bids must be prepared and submitted in the manner designated, and shall also be accompanied by the other information requested, in the documents contained in the bid package. Each bid shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Executive Director of the Authority, bearing the name and address of the Bidder, upon which shall be designated: "BID FURNISHING AND DELIVERY OF LIQUID SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE" The Authority expressly reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities and/or to accept the bid which, in its judgment, shall be in the best interest of the Authority, all in accordance with the New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq. |
