Pennbrook Road Improvements

As of November 14, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The work to be performed under this contract includes the installation of approximately 1,694 linear feet of storm drainage pipe and associated drainage structures; 3,110 square yards of hot mix asphalt milling; 875 tons of hot mix asphalt pavement and other incidental work along Pennbrook Road located in the Borough of Far Hills, New Jersey. Each bid must be made on the prescribed forms furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications, including Non-collusion Affidavit, and must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety for one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the Contract and a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond of not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount bid, and not to exceed $20,000.00. Bids may be submitted by mail, but will be considered only if received on or before the date and time specified. The Borough will not assume responsibility for bids forwarded through the mail if lost in transit at any time before bid opening. No bids will be received after the time set forth above. Bidders are advised that New Jersey Department of Transportation Local Aid funding will be utilized on this project. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C 17-27 et seq. The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive immaterial informalities, and/or to accept the bid which, in the opinion of the Borough, will be in the best interest of the Borough, all in accordance with the New Jersey Public Contract Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq.
