Exterior Rehabilitation and Repair Work on the Dent County Courthouse

The Project Consists of Exterior Rehabilitation, Repairs and Renovations to the Exterior of the Existing Courthouse Building. The Dent County Commission Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids Considered by Them to Be Materially Unbalanced or Non-responsive, and Affirms Their Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Bids Received, Without Limitation, and to Waive or Not to Waive Any or All Irregularity, Informality, or Technicality in Any Bid, and to Award the Contract Deemed by Them to Be in Their Best Interest. Bid Security in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Bid Amount Must Accompany Each Bid, in Accordance With the Instructions to Bidders. As a Condition of the Contract, the Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Provide Separate Performance and Payment Bonds, Each in the Amount of 100% of the Contract Amount. All Employees Are Required to Complete the Program Within Sixty (60) Days of Beginning Work on Such Construction Project. Any Employee Found on the Worksite Without Documentation of the Successful Completion of Such a Course Shall Be Afforded Twenty (20) Days to Produce Such Documentation Before Being Subject to Removal From the Project. A complete set of the Drawings and Specifications may be examined at the offices of Dent County Clerk, Dent County Courthouse, 400 N. Main Street, Salem, Missouri Upon signing the contract, the contractor and any subcontractor performing the work shall provide a ten-hour Occupational Safety andHealth Administration (OSHA) construction safety program for their on-site employees which includes a course in construction safety and health approved by OSHA or a similar program approved by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations which is at least as stringent as an approved OSHA program. All employees are required to complete the program within sixty (60) days of beginning work on such construction project. Any employee found on the worksite without documentation of the successful completion of such a course shall be afforded twenty (20) days to produce such documentation before being subject to removal from the project. Payment for the Work Under This Contract Will Be Made in Cash in Accordance With the Payment Provisions Stipulated in the Contract. The Contract Contains a Provision for Liquidated Damages.
