Description

Sewage Sludge Transport and Composting: Contractor shall provide containers for the storage of sewage sludge accumulated at the Fort Detrick WWTP. The contractor shall provide transportation and composting of Fort Detrick sewage sludge. Composted sewage sludge shall be used for beneficial use (land application and soil amendments) by the composting facility. Fort Detrick will maintain all recycling and waste diversion accounting and credit benefits associated with composting of the sewage sludge.
