Chiller Replacement - Central Mechanical Building, CM 124

Replacement of one chiller unit (CH-1) on the Lake Worth campus central mechanical building (CM1) including all related equipment and labor for the proper function of design. 1. Replace existing chiller CH-1 with new 750-ton unit. 2. Install FCU-1 and FCU-2. 3. Provide, install, and test new refrigerant monitoring system by owner. 4. Replace all associated equipment providing labor, materials, tools, equipment, and devices necessary for a complete and operational system in accordance with the design intent of contract documents. 5. Fully clean and leave systems in a complete and operational status. 6. Install all control valves, thermowells, chilled water piping, two (2) owner provided back draft dampers, and all electrical work associated with equipment replacement. 7. Control scope of work by owner. 8. All chiller and fan coil units to be tested and balanced by owner. 9. Palm Beach State College (PBSC) Construction Documents dated January 19, 2022; project number 01-0124-HVAC-2022, and Specifications CDE Project#: 19-041 dated January 19, 2022; indicate intent of design and shall be used for bidding purposes. 10. Provide submittals as required per construction documents. 11. Provide closing documents as required by the PBSC District Board of Trustees, State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF), Facilities Standards for Design, and the PBSC General Conditions of the Contract for Construction and executed Federally Funded Attestation.
