Description

Goals: DBE - 15% - 25%. To complete the design and construction for the structural rehabilitation of various work items on 21 bridges and aerial structures throughout the WMATA system. Major work items consist of pier cap retrofit, expansion joint replacement, anchor bolt replacement, concrete repair, protective coating of concrete and steel, safety walk & handrail replacement, bearing replacement, weld repair, replace fencing, and drain cleaning. A Best Value Design Build procurement will be used to deliver this project. WMATA will award a single contract for design and construction of all project requirements to a single Design Build Team.
