Forrest and Long, French Road, M.L. King, Jr, and Verone Lift Station Rehabilitation

This contract shall provide for rehabilitation of five (5) sanitary sewer lift stations for the City of Beaumont in Jefferson County, Texas. The lift stations are located on Spindletop Road, Forrest Street, French Road, M.L. King, Jr. Parkway, and Verone Street. This contract shall include all necessary superintendence, labor, equipment, tools, materials, painting, safety measures, environmental protection, disposal of surplus items, site restoration, and all other related construction for the proposed lift stations. Spindletop Lift Station: 1. Contractor shall remove and dispose of the existing pneumatic pumping system in its entirety, including compressor equipment, piping, inductor assembly, dry well structure and all appurtenances all in strict accordance with the plans and specifications. 2. Contractor shall remove and dispose of the existing bypass valve box and salvage the existing valve assembly for the Owner. 3. Contractor shall remove the existing 4” influent gravity sewer line from the existing manhole and install a new 6” SDR-26 PVC pipe from the existing manhole to the proposed wet well all in strict accordance with the plans and specifications. 4. Contractor shall install a new packaged grinder lift station including connection of the influent 6” gravity sewer line, 2” SDR-26 PVC force main to the existing force main, vent stack, and electrical connection to the provided control panel all in accordance with the plans and specifications. 5. Contractor to furnish and install all electrical equipment, controls, conduit and conductors all in accordance with the electrical plans and specifications. 6. Contractor shall provide surface restoration including sodding of the site all in accordance with the plans and specifications. 7. Provide ALL BYPASS PUMPING as required to maintain sewer flow during construction all in accordance with plans and specifications. Forrest & Long Lift Station: 1. Contractor shall remove and dispose of the existing pneumatic pumping system in its entirety, including compressor equipment & housing, piping, inductor assembly and all appurtenances all in strict accordance with the plans and specifications. 2. Contractor shall remove the existing wet well and construct a new sanitary sewer lift station, including 5’6” diameter RCP wet well and 4’ diameter RCP valve vault, top and bottom slabs, submersible pumps, pump rails, piping, fittings, valves, hatches, vent stack, electrical connection to the provided control panel, and all required appurtenances to make the lift station complete and operable all in accordance with the plans and specifications. 3. Contractor to furnish and install all electrical equipment, controls, conduit and conductors all in accordance with the electrical plans and specifications. 4. Contractor to connect the new 4” force main piping to the proposed sanitary sewer manhole all in accordance with the plans and specifications. 5. Contractor shall install a new 48” fiberglass manhole all in strict accordance with the plans and specifications. 6. Contractor shall coat all exposed piping including surface preparation all in accordance with the plans and specifications. 7. Contractor shall coat all interior concrete surfaces of the wet well in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and the plans and specifications. 8. Contractor shall provide humidity control of the wet well during the coating application in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. 9. Contractor shall provide surface restoration including sodding of the site all in accordance with the plans and specifications. 10. Provide ALL BYPASS PUMPING as required to maintain sewer flow during construction all in accordance with plans and specifications. French Road Lift Station: 1. Contractor shall remove and dispose of the existing pneumatic pumping system in its entirety, including compressor equipment & housing, piping, inductor assembly and all appurtenances all in strict accordance with the plans and specifications. 2. Contactor shall remove the existing wet well and install a new packaged grinder lift station including connection of the influent 6” gravity sewer line, 2” SDR-26 PVC force main to the existing manhole, vent stack, and electrical connection to the provided control panel all in accordance with the plans and specifications. 3. Contractor to furnish and install all electrical equipment, controls, conduit and conductors all in accordance with the electrical plans and specifications. 4. Contractor shall provide surface restoration including sodding of the site all in accordance with the plans and specifications. 5. Provide ALL BYPASS PUMPING as required to maintain sewer flow during construction all in accordance with plans and specifications. M.L. King, Jr. Lift Station: 1. Contractor shall remove and dispose of the existing pneumatic pumping system in its entirety, including compressor equipment & housing, piping, inductor assembly and all appurtenances all in strict accordance with the plans and specifications. 2. Contactor shall remove the existing wet well and install a new packaged grinder lift station including connection of the influent 6” gravity sewer line, 2” SDR-26 PVC force main to the existing manhole, vent stack, and electrical connection to the provided control panel all in accordance with the plans and specifications. 3. Contractor to furnish and install all electrical equipment, controls, conduit and conductors all in accordance with the electrical plans and specifications. 4. Contractor shall provide surface restoration including sodding of the site all in accordance with the plans and specifications. 5. Provide ALL BYPASS PUMPING as required to maintain sewer flow during construction all in accordance with plans and specifications. Verone Lift Station: 1. Contractor shall remove and replace the 4” DI pump discharge piping on both pumps inside the wet well, including the 90-degree bends, couplings, reducers, check valves, and gate valves all in accordance with the plans and specifications. 2. Contractor shall coat all exposed piping including surface preparation all in accordance with the plans and specifications. 3. Contractor shall remove the existing coating, pressure wash, remove and dispose of debris from the wet well all in accordance with the plans and specifications. 4. Contractor shall restore the wet well concrete surface to its original thickness all in accordance with the plans and specifications. 5. Contractor shall coat all interior concrete surfaces of the wet well all in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations and the plans and specifications. 6. Contractor shall provide humidity control of the wet well during the coating application in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. 7. Provide ALL BYPASS PUMPING as required to maintain sewer flow during construction all in accordance with plans and specifications.
