Description

Consist of reshaping ditches and reworking shoulders along State Road 79 in Holmes County at designated locations, from Son In-Law Road (Mile Post 1.503) to Alabama State Line (Mile Post 17.674). These ditches are non-typical and should be re-graded to +/- 3 inches of the original flow line to create a free and unobstructed flow of drainage water. For the purposes of this contract, the original flow line is considered to be the linear projection along the ditch bottom between the invert elevations of immediately adjacent drainage structures. Spoil material removed from ditches and shoulders shall be relocated to FDOT storage pit in Caryville. Fertilization will be required on all locations where shoulder rework activities are performed. Mobilization and Maintenance of Traffic shall be incidental to the bid items.
