Description

Roofing Improvements and Solar Energy Jersey City Municipal Courthouse Jersey City ESIP Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by Schneider Electric who has been selected as the Energy Services Company (ESCO) for: Project: Energy Savings Improvement Program (ESIP): For the Customer: Jersey City, in accordance with the Drawings, Specifications, and Bid Documents as prepared by Schneider Electric. Neither Jersey City nor Schneider Electric will assume any responsibility for bids mailed or misdirected in delivery. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the day of the bid opening. Any bids received after the opening time will be returned unopened. In order to be considered, bids must be received in a sealed envelope and the outer envelope must be clearly marked specifying the Project and the appropriate Prime Bid. Schneider Electric reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process in accordance with the law if it is in the best interest of Schneider Electric and/or the district. The Contract, if awarded shall be awarded by Schneider Electric to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements and is in the best interest of the customer and of Schneider Electric. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal subcontract by Schneider Electric. All bidders must use and complete all bid forms provided in the manner designated and must comply with every requirement contained in the instruction and specifications. Bidders and subcontractors named in the Form of Bid Proposal for General Constructions, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical or other applicable trades who perform any work on the Project must be pre-qualified prior to the submission of bids, pursuant to the State of New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction DPMC. Contractor must be DPMC rated for applicable scope of work. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25 project is subject to Surety and payment/Performance bond requirements. Pursuant to N.J.S.A 18A:18A-26, in order to be eligible to submit a Bid for the Project, the Bidder shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property management and Construction for their respective disciplines. All bidders must comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 10:2-1. An Initial Project Workforce Report will be required from the successful bidder (Form AA-201).
