| Description | The purpose of this contract to provide the Monmouth County Park System permitting, evaluation, treatment plan, and the control products and services, specifically the evaluation and control of nuisance aquatic weeds and algae in public park lakes and ponds. Location of lakes and ponds under this contract and site specific target weed species are for reference only and is not comprehensive as to the species to be controlled. Maps for each waterbody, along with known pertinent information is provided as an attachment: 1.Holmdel Park, Holmdel Township, NJ Site ID # 605088, WMA # 12 Holmdel Lake lower pond (3 acre) and Holmdel upper pond (1 acre). Target weeds; Algae and floating vegetation. Established emergent and fringe species to remain as directed in management plan. 2.Shark River Park, Neptune Township, NJ Site ID # 00363, WMA #12 Shark River Pond (2.4 acres). Target weeds: Algae and submerged weeds. 3.Thompson Park, Lincroft, NJ Site ID# 02046, WMA # 12 Marlu Lake (22 acres) and 520 Pond (0.7 acres) Target Weeds: Algae, Floating Weeds and submerged plants. 4.Turkey Swamp Park, Freehold, NJ Site ID # 01157, WMA # 12 Turkey Swamp Lake (24 acres). Target Weeds: Algae, Submerged, Emerged and Floating Weeds. 5.Perrineville Lake Park, Millstone, NJ Site ID # 01740, WMA #10 Perrineville Lake (15.4 acres). Target Weeds: Algae, emergent and submerged plants. 6.Crosswicks Creek Park, Upper Freehold, NJ Site ID # none, WMA #20 MCPS Lake 441-4 (1.1 to 1.8 acres) Target Weeds: Algae and floating plants. | ||
