Health Department Roofing Project

The Health Department Roofing Project consists of providing permitting, labor and equipment only as described in the technical specifications section of these bid documents. The project includes but is not limited to prepping and resurfacing the Health Department Roof as described in the attached documents. The project includes all common phases of construction customarily associated with this type of project. 1. Properly remove and dispose of the existing roof system down to the wood deck. 2. Replace any failed wood decking and wood facia board with same like and kind. 3. Remove all wood shingle molding on the rake and eave. 4. Install underlayment per specification. 5. Install a new drip edge metal, color to be selected by Owner. 6. Install new metal flashing. 7. The fasteners along the metal base flashing shall be 3.5” per foot. 8. No staples shall be used on this project. 9. Install shingles per specification, color to be selected by Owner. 10. Contractor to give proper notice to Owner before beginning work, contractor to clean all debris from the job site during and at the end of the project.
