Description

The joint sealant on Runway 18C/36C, Taxiway Echo, and Taxiway E2-E10 will be removed and replaced to maintain the pavement. This will include all concrete to concrete joints and the concrete to asphalt shoulder joint. The project will also require spall repairs necessary to complete installation where pavements have been damaged. This work will be completed in phases though the duration of the project. The pavement markings will be replaced by CLT Field Maintenance as the contractor completes portions of each phase of spall repairs and joint sealant replacement as installation is completed. Structural shoulder pavement repairs of Taxiway E2 and Taxiway E10 at the Runway edge line will also need to be completed.
