Description | **As of September 7, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction is soliciting formal, competitive, sealed bids from Contractors licensed to work in the jurisdiction for the project listed below :Bahia Honda State Park - Sandspur Day Use Pavilions BID POSTING DATE: No later than 3:30 PM (ET), Tuesday, August 9, 2022, unless extended by the Department for good cause. Base Bid: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and permitting to construct one (west pavilion) pavilion as per the contract documents. Alternate: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and permitting to construct one (east pavilion) pavilion as per the contract documents. Builder's Risk Insurance is required for this project and must be included in bid price. Bidder Prequalification is required for all bids. Each bidder shall provide a copy of its biennial pre-qualification letter from FDEP's Bureau of Design and Construction. If not prequalified, the bidder must submit a current State Contractor license certification or registration and current Corporate Charter registration with the bid. Pursuant to Executive Order 07-126 and Section 255.252(3), F.S. the Department requires the proposed project be designed and constructed in accordance with green building standards where applicable. The Department of Environmental Protection supports diversity in its Procurement Program and requests that all sub-contracting opportunities afforded by this bid embrace diversity enthusiastically. The award of sub-contracts should reflect the full diversity of the citizens of the State of Florida.
