Description

This project will consist of the upgrade and replacement of the HVAC systems in Plachy Hall. Plachy Hall was constructed in 1963 and operates with the original air handling units. Boilers heat 118,054 square feet of occupied space and are reaching 20 years in age. There are currently three BAS monitoring the building, some pneumatic controls are non-functioning. Project scope is to upgrade and replace all HVAC in the building (boilers, air handlers, RTUs, BAS controls, fans, ductwork, cabinet heaters). Plachy Hall currently contains a multipurpose gymnasium (seating capacity 1,782) multipurpose field house; faculty/staff offices; swimming pool; locker rooms; wrestling room; weight-room; equipment room; athletic training room; and storage.
