Description | Belle Glade - $268000 Callahan Villas - $321250 SCOPE OF WORK It is the intent of these specifications to describe a complete project fully acceptable to the District. Even though certain details may have been unintentionally omitted, the Supplier shall nonetheless perform all work necessary to complete the project to the highest industry standards and acceptable to the District. All materials and workmanship shall be first class and shall conform to the highest industry standards or the specifications, whichever requirements are more stringent. This project consists of installing 3,200 (LF) linear feet of underdrain pipes and replacing the asphalt layer by milling the existing pavement surface for the full width of the roadway and installing a new asphalt overlay a total of 7,600 (SY) square yard area in one (1) neighborhood villa; Atwood Villas. The new underdrain pipe will connect to the existing drainage system with a purpose of improving the overall drainage conditions of the roadways, as detailed in the construction plans provided by Kimley Horne & Associates, to include: o Underdrain Plans for Belle Glade Villa Unit 957 Dated March 2022 (Kimley Horne) o Underdrain Plans for Callahan Villa Unit 958 Dated March 2022 (Kimley Horne) All areas are to be kept safe for workers and residents. Supplier shall be responsible for adhering to all local, state and federal safety guidelines and observe all safety precautions when performing services on District property, roadways and right-of-ways to include safe location of parked vehicles, use of safety cones, signage, flag personnel as necessary, use of safety vests on all personnel and vehicles which are clearlyidentifiable as belonging to the Supplier. Any District property damaged at work site by Supplier shall be repaired to District Standards. Supplier is responsible for all repairs of damage. Access / Staging Area and Safety: The District shall designate the access to the site and staging area for the project. Appropriate safety signs shall be posted by the Supplier. The Supplier shall provide, erect and maintain approximately 250 feet of six (6) foot safety fence w/ wind screen to delineate the construction staging area. The statements above are basic minimal guidelines and do not relieve the Supplier of conforming to all local, state or federal safety requirements.
