Description

1. Each pump shall be disassembled, inspected, and tolerances checked. 2. The bowl wear ring and impeller wear ring areas will be cleaned, polished, and tolerances noted. If any additional repairs are needed, recommendations shall be made to MWRD. 3. Remove and replace the bowl bushings. 4. Remove and replace the marine line shaft bushings. 2 for each 715 pump. 3 for each 610 pump. 5. Remove and replace stuffing box bushing. 6. Replace pump shafting and shaft couplings with shaft material outlined in each equipment section. 7. Column pipe and bowl assembly will be sandblasted and coated with epoxy paint. NSF 140 Tnemec. 8. A report will be generated, highlighting the condition of all parts and pieces of the pump. Include pictures in the report. See Attachment 1, Sample Report. 9. Complete reassembly of the pump. 10. Assume separate mobilizations for each pump. 11. Assume each pump will be rebuilt one at a time. 12. The vendor will provide means for a physical inspection of pump repairs at service facility, as requested by Metro Wastewater Reclamation District staff.
