Description | **As of April 5,2023, This project has been awarded to Command Construction LLC, with the awarded amount of $51,147.50.** The Town of East Hampton, CT is soliciting sealed bids for completing Low Impact Sustainable Development Stormwater Retrofits within the Lake Pocotopaug Watershed. The project generally consists of installing upgrades to existing stormwater conveyance and collection systems within Town owned/controlled land and right of ways to control nonpoint sources of water pollution within the Lake Pocotopaug watershed. Projects for this bid will include Christopher Pond and Edgemere Water Supply Wells. A satisfactory Bid Bond or Certified Check, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The Bid Bond shall be made payable to Town of East Hampton and shall be properly executed by the Bidder and acceptable sureties. All bonds must be from sureties registered in the State of Connecticut. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date of Bid opening. The Town of East Hampton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all options, bids or proposals; to waive any technicality in any bid or part thereof, and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of East Hampton. The Town of East Hampton is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. Minority/Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to apply Funding for this project is provided by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection under Section 319 of the Federal Clean Water Act. Work for the project described above includes furnishing, installing and incorporating all materials and equipment into the project as well as performing or providing all labor, supervision, equipment and services unless otherwise noted within the bid documents. The Town intends to award all the projects to one general contractor and anticipates that the awarded contractor will utilize subcontractors to provide the unique technical experience required at each location. Contractors shall provide a minimum of three project references to verify they're qualified to perform the work |
